His comment came on the back of claims by a section of the public that the president’s decision to provide financial support to some veterans in the creative arts is a way to influence their votes Ghanaian actor, Clement Bonney, popularly known as Mr. Beautiful, is convinced that President John Dramani Mahama presidential candidate for the National Democratic Congress has already won the November elections.

His comment came on the back of claims by a section of the public that the president’s decision to provide financial support to some veterans in the creative arts is a way to influence their votes.

Mr Beautiful who is the project coordinator for Celebrities for Mahama told Hitz FM that the amount given to the veterans is meant for their welfare and not to induce them. To him, President Mahama does not need to give out monies to earn votes because he has already won the elections.

He will however not disclose the amount given these veterans. “This is not the first time the President has been supporting the veterans. He started about three years ago and I am the one who mobilizes that. As for what the president gives them, it is not important.

What is important is, he gives them money to cater for their hospital bills and general welfare. “If someone has done something for someone and that person wishes to return the favour, what do you care about the influence? He is not being philanthropic for people to vote for him.

Whether they (Ghanaians) like it or not, the man has already won the elections,” he said. Mr Beautiful is known to be one of the celebrities who have declared their support for President Mahama.

In retrospect, the actor indicated that Nana Akufo-Addo, who is the presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) can never become the president of Ghana.

“I have nothing against him [Nana Addo] but he can’t be president. I only see one president in Ghana which is President Mahama. He is next to Dr. Kwame Nkrumah,” he said on Neat FM.

It has become apparent that Kumawood actress and video vixen, Rosemond Brown does not want the ‘moments’ to slide without getting involved and putting herself in the spotlight.

In the ensuing war of words between friends-turned-enemies; Shatta Wale and Achipalago, the actress has cautioned the latter to get preoccupied with a job so he would stop insulting Shatta Wale any chance he gets.

Rosemond’s warning is in response to attacks the ‘Ayo’ hitmaker has suffered after he innocently shared a video himself getting a haircut in the salon.

The video went viral for the wrong reasons as many are mocking Shatta Wale for having eczema around his neck area.

In the video, Achipalago wondered why Shatta Wale, who flaunts his wealth on social media could not afford to acquire good skincare products.

Rosemond Brown however thinks, Achipalago’s concerns reek of jealousy and has adviced him to find something better doing with his time.

She went on to caution him to desist from commenting on issues relating to Shatta Wale and asked that he gets a job to while away the excess time he obviously has.
