Prophet Kwabena Owusu Agyei, who was arrested yesterday by the BNI while granting an interview with Hot FM has shocked most Ghanaians. His arrest came after a video surfaced on social media where the prophet was making too much noise while talking about politics.
In his argument, Kwabena Owusu Agyei was making some allegations against the president of Ghana, His excellency Nana Akuffo-Addo.
He didn’t only attack Nana Akuffo-Addo, he went on to threaten the Electoral Commissioner (EC), Jean Mensa to the point of saying he will end her life. In this world, our mouth can take us to our blessings, whiles that same mouth can take us to our downfall.
As a man of God, I think it’s unwise to participate in politics. I even wonder if this is from God as he claims, reason being that, looking at the way he fumes out words, cursing and insulting, no man of God will think of talking that way. The bible even says that, we should respect our leaders/authorities, so for him to even insult authorities should tell us, he ain’t no man of God.
Now, I have seen several posts on Facebook saying that, the weed found on him after his arrest was planted by the security agency (BNI). In the video that was leaked online, Prophet Kwabena Agyei was handcuffed while holding the weed. To my knowledge, even a day old baby would make a sound if they feel they are not guilty.
How come Kwabena Owusu Agyei was just silent, didn’t say a word while being accused of having weed on him? It doesn’t make any sense to me. Also, before his arrest, the side-bag was seen on him which was where the weed was hidden according to the video which surfaced online.
So before you think of saying anything, watch your tongue. Whatever you say can be use against you in the court of law as the police always say when they are making an arrest. Politicians don’t give a f*ck about what happens to you, so let’s use our brains wisely and watch what we say.
A word to the wise is enough. Nana Yaw Asare, founder of xbitgh.com
