Former Manchester United player Memphis Depay has recounted the experience he had at Ghana during his recent visit to the Cape Coast School of deaf.
The soccer star whose father is a Ghanaian was in Ghana some few days ago and visited students of Cape Coast School of deaf to make some donations and as well spend sometime with them.
He made headlines across the country after news emerged that he slept in their dorm and on the same bed as theirs.
Taking to social media after returning to California, Memphis Depay shared;
“The children of Cape Deaf, in Ghana, fill me with pure happiness. Seeing the way they live with such positive energy is an inspiration and I was blessed to sit in a sign language class with them and learn new things! 🙏🏽🌍🏁.”
