“Sista Afia Better Than Ebony”

Published

Ghanaian rap artiste, Dr.Cryme has made an assertion we are certain many Ghanaians would disagree with him.

The Tema-based rapper on Celebrity Ride With Zionfelix show has mentioned that he would choose highlife and afrobeat songstress Sister Afia over dancehall diva, Ebony.

D.Cryme on the show’s ‘Who Is Who?’ segment easily mentioned the ‘Jeje’ hitmaker’s name when asked to choose between Ebony and Sister Afia. The Twi Pop Records boss failed to give reasons for his choice.

Darlington Kwasi Agyekum’s choice comes as a shock to many who have watched the show judging from Ebony’s hit songs.

Actress Nikki Samonas on the same program chose Ebony over Sister Afia when Zionfelix asked her same question on the ‘Who Is Who’ segment of the program weeks back.

Sister Afia and Ebony for their short stay in the music business have released few hit songs which have propelled them to be on the lips of Ghanaians. Both female artists known to be controversial have come under serious attack over their style of dressing.

I nearly aborted DJ Switch when I conceived her – Mother

Mother of Ghana’s youngest DJ, DJ Switch has disclosed that she considered having an abortion while she was pregnant with her daughter.

She remorsefully said on Zylofon 102.1 FM’s Showbiz Agenda that had she known her daughter would have turned out successful, the thought will not have crossed her mind.

“I almost aborted her. I actually went ahead to purchase the drug to terminate the pregnancy but I changed my mind later on”, she said.

According to her, she realized she was with another child six months after having her first child and could not bear the stigma.

“I was the talk of town. Everybody was pointing fingers at me because I had just graduated and in less than two years, was going to be a mother of two”, she added.

However, she expressed her joy in the fact that she restrained from the act and, now her daughter is the most popular young DJ in the country.
