Former hiplife artiste, Lord Kenya in an interview with Bola Ray on Empire Radio in Takoradi says that, when it comes to music and being the best, Shatta Wale, Stonebowy and Samini are not there yet.

He went on to give them two years.

“When I put Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy and Samini together, none of them is there yet, none of them can be crowned as the best dancehall artiste, they have two years to get there.”

He also went on to commend Nexo X for the kind of music and rap he churns out, for him, Nero is a good rapper and his music speaks a lot.

Lord Kenya before becoming a pastor, won several awards with his hiplife tracks notable among them are ‘Artiste of the Year’, ‘Hiplife Artiste of the Year’, and ‘Hiplife Album of the Year’ at the Ghana Music Awards 2001, and ‘Best Ghanaian Rap Music Award ‘at the Anansekrom Festival in Canada 2000.

Takoradi Artistes Fake Togetherness – Qwesi flex



If Music is supposed to express emotions,relief pains,reduce depression,elevate mood and most especially unite people then that unity should exist among The ambassadors of music.

The ‘No pampanaa’ singer Qwesi flex in an interview exposed an interesting perception about his fellow takoradi musicians.

Takoradi’s young fast rising soloist aired during an interview on the ‘Di wo lane mu’ show anchored by Sammy Bee on kasapa fm that “takoradi Artistes fake togetherness”.

According to the Qwesi flex, his colleagues seems united during encounters  but there is alot of hatred and bad mindset among themselves.

Hitting so hard of that point it seems the young talent has enough reasons for sighting out such can of worms..
