Popular Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie has finally made comments on the apparent beef between himself and dancehall musician Shatta Wale.
He stated that before the release of the song “advice”, the Ghanaian dancehall act had already begun smearing his name in the mud but he paid no heed to it by reminding himself that Shata Wale was that sort of person and still considered him his as family.
“The disrespect started way before that. We all know my brother; that would be like a good point to stand on to say this is why I’m mad. But he’s been like that for a minute. That’s my brother. Sarkodie informed.” Sarkodie said
According to Sarkodie, Shatta Wale was not only threatening to dent his career but was also on his way to turn his fans away from him, the more reason why he felt it was necessary to curtail his shenanigans with “Advice”.
“First I used to see it as fun because that is his character. But then it got serious you know; to seat on radio and go like you met a fan of mine who said he wanted to take pictures and I said no and I don’t treat my fans well, that’s like you are trying to turn the people against me.
“You use the ‘F’ word and all that. I contained all that for a long time so the build-up is from way back not just recently. Advice came after all that.” The rapper stated.
Despite Shatta Wale’s claims that Sarkodie stabbed him in the back with a deal they were working on from Glo concerning an intended amount, they both agreed to amass, the award-winning rapper out rightly threw them in the wind by saying that they are all untrue.
“He’s been like that for a minute even before the show. So if he wants to say there was a show and this or whatever happened, he knows I will not come out to come and talk.
“But the thing is there’s been several times that this has been said which is not true. Then I will call him and go like Yo this is not necessary.” Sarkodie finished up.” Sarkodie claimed
