In the words of Jesus Christ in the Christian Bible, “A prophet is honored everywhere except in his own hometown and among his relatives and his own family.” Yes!, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr. affectionately called Shatta Wale has suffered from the same fate.

Regardless of the fact that he has been consistent in our music industry, countless numbers of music enthusiasts as well as pundits call him ‘a local champion artiste‘. But then, those in Liberia think otherwise per the latest development.

The self-acclaimed Dancehall King, Shatta Wale has had a beach and football club named after him in Liberia. Shatta Wale took to social media to express his gratitude by sharing photos and video of his fanbase in Liberia and how they have honored him in that African country.

LIBERIA I SEE THE LOVE…NAMING A BEACH AND A FOOTBALL CLUB AFTER SHATTA MOVEMENT….#SM4LYF,” he posted.

Sarkodie, Yvonne Nelson, Stonebwoy, Others Express Support For Kwaw Kese’s Ambulance Rant

Rapper Kwaw Kese has received backing from colleagues in the Ghanaian entertainment industry on his rants about the state of leadership in the country.

A video posted via his Instagram account finds the self-professed crazy rapper lashing out at the New Patriotic Party government over its failure to improve health care issues in Ghana.

Kwaw Kese couldn’t believe that with all the stories of people dying due to lack of ambulances, the stories of hospitals without enough beds to take care of Ghanaians, the NPP is wasting money buying 275 buses for the party.

“It is stupidity and foolishness that a political party can buy 275 buses for its activities when the country is currently struggling with just 55 ambulances. God will continue punishing Ghana and our leaders must start dying one by one.” stated a visibly angry Kese in the video posted early this week.

His comments were supported by many including Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Yvonne Nelson, Captain Planet and D Cryme.
