Ebony Reign’s death still comes as a shock to many Ghanaians and since her death, several tribute songs have been released for her. Legendary Music producer, Hammer of the Last 2 has released his version of the tribute song, although he does not describe it as a tribute song. The song titled ‘Remember Ebony’ features top acts like Shatta Wale & Sarkodie.
The song ‘Remember Ebony’ also has Worlasi on it, Poetress Alpha and Abeiku Santana on it. It’s indeed an emotional song and listening to the song, it likely to bring you to tears, especially the beginning part where Ebony’s mum voice is heard crying and pleading with God to return her daughter to her.
Hammer brilliantly captured some of the emotional voices and cries from her one-week celebration in the song and it’s heard playing in the background as the musicians express their emotions in words on the song.
Shatta Wale’s cry is heard in there, then Worlasi comes in, we also hear Poetress Alpha come in and at that point, tears begin to fill our eyes.
