A plethora of Ghanaian A-list acts will be at the International Trade Fair Centre in Accra on March 23, to render tribute performances to fallen colleague Ebony Reigns.

Yaa Pono, Ras Kuuku, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Samini, VVIP, R2Bees, Ras Kuuku, and Nana Boroo have all been announced for the concert, which is expected to attract several thousands of fans. Other expected performers include Kofi Kinaata, Feli Nuna, Brella, Danny Beatz, and a host of others.

A Rufftown Records/ Midas Touch Inc. event, it comes off in partnership with the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), Ghana Music Rights Organisation ( GHAMRO), and the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture.

A “new school” leader by all standards, the singer (born Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng) met her untimely death in a February 8 car crush on the Kumasi – Sunyani road. Author of several 2017 hits and the Bonyfied album, Ebony is expected to dominate the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards night slated for April.

Her final funeral rights have been slated for Saturday March 24 at the forecourt of the State House.

Sarkodie, Yvonne Nelson, Stonebwoy, Others Express Support For Kwaw Kese’s Ambulance Rant

Rapper Kwaw Kese has received backing from colleagues in the Ghanaian entertainment industry on his rants about the state of leadership in the country.

A video posted via his Instagram account finds the self-professed crazy rapper lashing out at the New Patriotic Party government over its failure to improve health care issues in Ghana.

Kwaw Kese couldn’t believe that with all the stories of people dying due to lack of ambulances, the stories of hospitals without enough beds to take care of Ghanaians, the NPP is wasting money buying 275 buses for the party.

“It is stupidity and foolishness that a political party can buy 275 buses for its activities when the country is currently struggling with just 55 ambulances. God will continue punishing Ghana and our leaders must start dying one by one.” stated a visibly angry Kese in the video posted early this week.

His comments were supported by many including Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Yvonne Nelson, Captain Planet and D Cryme.
