Samini explains ‘Dancestardom’ name choice
Afro-pop/dancehall strongman, Samini has explained the motivation for naming his Dansoman based lounge and restaurant, Dancestardom. The centre comprising a night club, restaurant and a sitting area which overlooks a performance stage as well as a practice golf court has become a hotbed for artistes and fun lovers.
“.. You see dance woman plus Amsterdam, put it together you get Dancestardom, you see dancehall plus stardom put it together you get Dancestardom” the ‘Iskoki’ hitmaker noted in his track ‘Dancestardom’.
Feeling ‘gbesh’ about his brilliance the multiple award winning artiste trumpets “… you see am a genius.. sam samini mini everybody knows am ahenmuhene, frititi mabini mabini, wu nim se Nyakupong na esimihene, who be the oga.. gyimidi samini, mini de raga dada….”
Not yet done with his message Emmanuel asserts “always number 1, metimtim tise weidro, mi wu akukruduro nti misro tudro adding when you see the general, salute “.
Samini’s rhymes on this track is (sick), flow in Twi, English and Patois is nothing short of amazing giving credence to the fact that he is one of the greatest to offer his musical talents to local and global citizens alike.

rs. Charlotte Adjetey mother of late singer Terry Bonchaka paid her last respect to multiple award-winning singer Ebony Reigns.
The final funeral rites, which was held at the State House in Accra witness scores of fans and celebrities as Late Terry Bonchaka mother came to bid farewell.
The mother who onetime lost her eldest son known in real life as Terrence Nii Okang Mensah Adjetey aka Terry Bonchaka felt much pains when she saw the final remains of Ebony laid to rest.
Terry’s mother shed tears bringing back memories when she bid farewell to her son and now it’s Ebony.
According to her: may God keep her safe… this young lady [Ebony] death brings a lot of pains to me when I lost my son. I pray this never happens again in Ghana.
Many media present couldn’t recognise Terry’s mother since the death of her son in 2003.
The 21-year-old died Terry on Friday, October 29, 2003, after performing at the Akuafo Hall of the University of Ghana in their Hall Week Celebration.
Terry Bonchaka met his untimely death in a fatal accident on the Legon-Madina road in Accra when his car veered off the road and hit a tree. He was confirmed dead at the 37 Military Hospital.
