Leading members of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) stormed the Ebenezer Miracle Worship Center at Ahenema Kokoben Island City near Brofoyedu to seek for spiritual help in the December 7 general elections. Rev. Dr. Ebenezer Adarkwa Yiadom Opambour, aka, the Nation’s Prophet 1 made some revelations about the 2008 elections as well as this particular elections to them.
The NPP team was led by the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the elephant family, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, aka, Chairman Wontumi, together with some leading party officials, including Dr. Kojo Appiah-Kubi, MP for Atwima Kwawoma in the Ashanti Region, the delegation told and his congregation that their visit was at the instance of Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
According to Chairman Wontumi, they had come on behalf of the NPP’s 2016 presidential candidate to seek for God’s intervention going into the polls.
Today, Moses is not around. You are the Prophet of God on this land. All that Nana Akufo-Addo is saying is that if we have done something and therefore affecting our chances of winning the elections, when we come to you, that will come to an end. Because, the soldier told Jesus Christ in the Bible that once you tell me to go out of this place, I know my sickness will be healed. And so, if you (Nation’s Prophet 1) tell us to go out of this worship center, we know that we have won the 2016 elections already
In a delayed video which was telecasted on Ebenezer TV on Wednesday, Wontumi told the congregration that the NPP will leave no stone unturned as far as the 2016 Presidential and Parliamentary elections are concerned.
Opambour after listening to the delegation told them that their visit was not long overdue but noted that if they had come earlier than that maybe they wouldn’t have suffered defeats in the previous elections.
He nonetheless, thanked them for the bold steps they have taking to commit the party into God’s care.
In 2008, I heard that Nana Akufo-Addo was coming here and so we prepared the place very well to welcome him. Then I heard somebody called Nana and told him that he coming here will be of no use and so he should go to a different man of God. Truly, Nana did not come and so I told my congregation that apart from what I will say, whatever any minister of the word will say is his or her personal view and not from God. And so, if Nana wants, he should go to any pastor and they will prophesy to him but it will not come to pass
He futher told the congregation that the reason why the NDC won the 2008 elections was that the late Prof. John Evans Atta Mills made a bold decision and visited the Ebenezer Miracle Worship Center to commit himself and the party into God’s hands.
“I told him that the elections will be very difficult but he would triumph at the end of the day”.
To Opambour, God has revealed to him the party that will win this year’s elections, stressing that that political party in question will be a party of his choice.
“God has told me that the party that I [Prophet I] wants will win this year’s elections”, he averred.
He also revealed that the polls will be the most difficult elections ever held in the country, adding that “only a few votes will decide who will ascend to the throne”.
Revealed: Why UK freed Nayele Ametefe after serving 3 years of her 8-year jail time
Drug Queen Nayele Ametefe has been released from jail having served only three years out of her 8 and a half years sentence for narcotics peddling and trafficking.
We learnt she was released days ago on parole for showing extraordinarily good behaviour throughout her 3 years in prison, even though she has 5 and a half years to go.
Parole is a temporary release of a prisoner who agrees to certain conditions before the completion of the maximum sentence period, originating from the French ‘parole’.
The Ghanaian who also hold an Austrian passport pleaded guilty to carrying 12 kilos of cocaine to the United Kingdom was been sentenced to eight years, eight months’ imprisonment.
Nayele Ametefe was sentenced on her own plea by the Isleworth Crown Court in London. The sentence was discounted because of her early guilty plea. Nayele appeared in court well dressed and looked indifferent when the sentence was handed down on her head.
The prosecutors told the court Nayele had $23,000 and an additional 6,000 Pounds in her handbag when she was arrested. The money was payment for her courier services.
According to the prosecutors, Nayele Ametefe was carting the cocaine to South America. Her travel itinerary, the court was told indicated that she was leaving the United Kingdom two days after her arrival, for the Dominican Republic.
The 12 kilograms of cocaine was, therefore, not meant to be consumed in the UK.
In his submission for mitigation, lawyer for Nayele told the court she came from an underprivileged home and married a spare parts dealer at Ghana’s famous spare-parts market, Abossey Okai.
She has three children, the first being 16 years old. Her marriage broke down and she has been a single mother.
According to the lawyer, Nayele came into contact with powerful people in 2004 and her life changed dramatically. She travelled extensively with influential people as their companion.
The lawyer said Nayele has remained connected to powerful people in authority who are currently in power in Ghana.
She was forced by circumstances to engage in transporting drugs to support her newly attained high-class lifestyle and to take care of her three children, the lawyer said.
