Antoinette Delali Kemevor, a student of Central University has been crowned queen of the Miss Ghana 2015 Beauty Pageant at a colourful ceremony at the Accra International Conference Centre, on Saturday. The Pharmacy student, representing the Volta Region, beat 20 other young ladies to win the coveted crown.  She will represent Ghana at Miss World 2015, the 65th edition of pageant to be held on December 19, at the Crown of Beauty Theatre in Sanya, China PR. Rolene Strauss of South Africa will crown her successor at the end of the event.

The Miss Ghana 2015 runners-up were Rebecca Asamoah, a Dental Surgery Assistant at the College of Health in Kintampo and Afua Asieduwaa Akorfa, a Political Science and Theatre Arts student of the University of Ghana, who came in third and second, respectively.

Other winners on the night included Larisa Andre who won Miss Photogenic and Miss Gorgeous Skin, Naa Adoley Owuadey won Miss Talent, Eleanor Seku picked up the Miss Top Model award, Miss Eloquence went to Adwoa Konad, Beauty with a Purpose award went to Eleanor Seku, Akorfa Awuma and Antoinette Kemavor. Rebecca Asamoah was also a big winner picking up three awards including Miss Congeniality, Miss Fitness and Most Disciplined.

The finale, put together by Exclusive Events Ghana came off at the Accra International Conference Centre on Saturday November 7 2015 and saw wonderful performances from acclaimed saxophonist Steve Bedi, Gyedu Blay Ambolley, Wiyaala, Sheriffa Gunu and the Pan African Youth Orchestra.

Zylofon boss leads Adisco students in ‘jama’ session in latest video

CEO of Zylofon Media, Nana Appiah Mensah, has paid a surprise visit to the Adisadel College in Cape Coast which happens to be his alma mater.

The visit, which was intended to inspire and motivate students to reach higher heights, really turned the school upside down as students trooped to the spot where Nana Appiah’s convoy was parked to see him.

As it is usual with many boys schools, there can be no such gathering without some ‘jama’ and Nana Appiah himself led this session.

In a video posted on Instagram, the Zylofon boss is seen out of the sunroof of his car clapping and urging the students on as they started the ‘jama’ session.

Nana Appiah whose Zylofon Media has taken Ghana’s entertainment industry by storm is said to have attended Adisco between 2001 to 2004.

Apart from his business interests which includes Menzgold, Brew Marketing Consulting and a host of others, he operates a philanthropic foundation called the NAM Mission.

The visit to his alma mater was part of activities of NAM Mission and it surely got the students into a frenzy mode.
