Suspended National Chairman and General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Paul Awentime Afoko and Kwabena Agyei Agyepong respectively are expected to be reinstated by the party anytime soon, has learnt.

The party is also considering a return of the Second National Vice-Chairman, Sammy Crabbe who is also on suspension.

The exact date for their reinstatement is immediately not known.

Inside sources say the level at which discussions for the return of the trio have reached would be impossible for the party to rescind its decision, especially, as they enter into the critical months of the electioneering campaign.

The NPP, our source hinted, have come to a conclusion that it is only when the suspended national executives of the party return that the party can strategically position itself to win the upcoming general elections considering the large followers of the trio.

The financial resources of the trio especially Mr Afoko could be pull together to assist in financing an effective electioneering campaign is also a major factor the party hierarchy has been considering over the months. This website is well informed that the return of the suspended officers will not so much impact on the day-to-day administration of the party because by the Peter Mac Manu-chaired Campaign team would be in motion by then.

Their return, our sources say, would foil any plans of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) to make capital gains of their present situation during the electioneering campaign, especially, when they mount the platform in the strong holds of the NPP.

The reinstatement would immediately be followed by the withdrawal of all court actions brought against the party by Mr. Paul Afoko and Sammy Crabbe who believe that the action of the Danquah-Busia-Dombo tradition was unconstitutional.

In December last year, Mr. Agyepong and Sammy Crabbe were released from their post by the party on grounds of misconduct.

The two executives received the indefinite suspension after a crunch meeting by the National Executive Committee of the party following a recommendation by the Disciplinary Committee.

Prior to arriving at that decision, the elephant family had in October slapped a similar sanction on their National Chairman, Paul Afoko.

Shatta Wale replies Stonebwoy, calls him a cripple

Stonebwoy Said About Shatta Wale

Ghanaian Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale has descended heavily on fellow Dancehall act, Stonebwoy after the latter claimed he is a better lyricist than him.

The two acts, over the weeks, have been throwing jabs at each other ever since the Bulldog-Zylofon-Stonebwoy brouhaha happened at Paloma Hotel in Accra.

Speaking to Multimedia’s MzGee on Sunday, Stonebwoy argued that he was lyrically and musically better than Shatta Wale who has been throwing jabs at him in recent times.

“Shatta Wale can never murder me. He is never lyrically good like me and he knows it. Shatta Wale is never musically and lyrically better than I am. I murdered him in 2010 at Labadi (beach). Lyrically, I’m the baddest in Africa.”

However, it seems Shatta Wale didn’t take Stonebwoy’s words lightly as he has riposted through his Facebook account insisting that Stonebwoy is never humble and neither does he pity himself.
