Former Broadcast Journalist with Multimedia, Captain Smart has told Ghanaians that it’s time the country rally behind a third force and boot out the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and National Democratic Congress (NDC) because they are garbage.
According to him, what Ghana needs now is a new set of people who will have a sense of direction for the country in order to move the country towards the said direction.
“Both political parties are political waste, we need to throw them into the garbage. We need a serious third force that’s got a clear perception of where Ghana really got to go. Both of them they know me very well, yes I followed the NPP from Childhood with J A Kuffour, I remember Kromantse we were sitting on the floor with Kufuor Obetsebi Lamptey, Asamoah Boateng, I was the little boy among them and sat on the floor eating but I think both political parties have lost it”. He said while being interviewed on a local Television Station monitored by mynewsgh.com.
He added further that “there’s no direction as both political parties see paying their opponent back with their same coin is the way to go. So we keep changing people without understanding their role and how they can help the country. So when we vote even toilet caretakers we ask all of them to leave and we replace them so there’s nothing like continuity”.
The journalist noted that Ghana has no excuse of not becoming a better country but the two leading political parties are not giving the right people among them the various strategic positions to help in building the country to the higher height.
Questioning their ideologies and whether they stand true to them, he quizzed ” the NPP said they are the elitist so why is it that when the graduates finish their university they do not get jobs to do although the NPP has touted itself as being for the elitist. The NDC also prides itself as the grassroot, how has the life of the people of Gomoa not change”.
In his view, it’s about time these political parties are booted out so they can go back to the drawing board and work on themselves
