May Music Recording artiste, Mantse A.Y and famous for his Nyame Watse hit song has told Xbitgh.com about how Fortune Dane sold a beat to him for his Seaside song and later gave the same beat to Ball J for his recently released Lullaby – which is a Sarkodie diss song.
May Music WorldWide management contacted Fortune Dane for him to produce a beat for a single called Seaside which he did,” Mantse A.Y said.
“Immediately the beat was ready, I recorded the song, we even shot a music video for the song which we wanted to release at a good marketing timing per May Music WorldWide plans ,” he added.
As an artist, this has been heartbreaking considering the time and resource already pumped into this,” Mantse A.Y told Xbitgh.com.
Listening to both ‘SEASIDE’ and ‘LULLABY’ (below) confirms Mantse’s story—that both songs were recorded on the same beat.
Mantse A.Y said: “when I confronted Fortune Dane about this, he said he sent the beat to Ball J somewhere last year June and had told him that a different artiste which is I (Mantse A.Y) is also using same beat which is copyrighted ”
