My passion is acting not fashion design – Elikem

The Big Brother Africa finalist Elikem Kumordzi in an exclusive interview with Joselyn Dumas on Metro TV (@ Home with Joselyn Dumas) indicated that acting has been his passion from infancy.

”I had always wanted to act since I was a child,it was my passion and it still is.”

When ask why he is into fashion design he replied that fashion designing was something that became just part of him.

”Well I got to realise my fashion designing talent when I deferred my program at the University,I then realised the skill was just with me.”

“I love to act but I like to design,there’s a difference.”

The actor/fashioner designer also revealed that one of his most happiest moment was when he became the first Ghanaian to make it to the finals of the Big Brother Africa stage.

“It was one of the memorable and happiest moments of my life, though I couldn’t win it,I was proud to be the first Ghanaian to make it that far to the finals.” He said.

I nearly aborted DJ Switch when I conceived her – Mother

Mother of Ghana’s youngest DJ, DJ Switch has disclosed that she considered having an abortion while she was pregnant with her daughter.

She remorsefully said on Zylofon 102.1 FM’s Showbiz Agenda that had she known her daughter would have turned out successful, the thought will not have crossed her mind.

“I almost aborted her. I actually went ahead to purchase the drug to terminate the pregnancy but I changed my mind later on”, she said.

According to her, she realized she was with another child six months after having her first child and could not bear the stigma.

“I was the talk of town. Everybody was pointing fingers at me because I had just graduated and in less than two years, was going to be a mother of two”, she added.

However, she expressed her joy in the fact that she restrained from the act and, now her daughter is the most popular young DJ in the country.
