Everyone’s quitting Argentina
It’s a monumental day for the Argentine football team. How can they recover from this?

La Albiceleste lost the Copa America final to Chile on Sunday night, and that’s triggered an incredible domino effect of players resigning from the Argentine international team.

The first player who announced his international retirement was Leo Messi.

But that was just the beginning.

Sergio Aguero & Javier Mascherano quit too

In an incredible turn of events, Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero and FC Barcelona stawart Javier Mascherano both announced they are retiring from the international stage too.

As is that wasn’t enough, reports coming out of South America also claimed that Angel Di Maria, Ezequiel Lavezzi, Gonzalo Higuain and Lucas Biglia are all poised to hang up their Argentine boots too.

Perhaps surprisingly, coach Tata Martino hasn’t decided to walk away from the international scene.
