I Lost Tigo, MTN And Coca Cola Deals After Ghana Meets Naija Wee Saga – Liwin

Published

on

In May 2014, comic actor Kwadwo Nkansah Liwin during his performance on the popular Ghana Meets Naija show introduced the subject of marijuana and before he could fully explain his intentions, producers of the show yanked him off the stage to avoid any complicity and embarrassment.

Years on, the actor has told the world how the incident affected his brand negatively. In a chat with Sammy Flex on Pluzz FM in Accra, he revealed that he lost his Coca Cola, Tigo and MTN deals the following morning after the event.

According to him, he expected Bola Ray, boss of Empire Entertainment, organisers of the show to explain his act to the crowd after he was sacked from stage but he did not do that.

” I expected Bola Ray who knew what I had was grounded powder in a rolled paper to look like wee, to come to my aid to explain to the people that what I had in my hands wasn’t wee. I though he would stand by me to help settle the matter, but sadly he abandoned me. He rather asked me to go back on stage and explain to the people. I was really disappointed in him.”
