Leave my husband alone – Woman tells Patience Nyarko

Gospel musician Patience Nyarko has been warned by a woman identified as Olivia Kumi to stay off her husband.

According to Olivia Kumi, wife of Patience Nyarko’s manager, Wilson Kumi, the gospel artiste has succeeded in taking her husband’s attention from his family, keeping him away from his marital home for about 4 years.

She told in an interview that her husband, who is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Trust Productions has been shirking his responsibilities at home, spending more time with Patience Nyarko, who she believes is having amorous relationship with her husband.

“According to Alex, one of the taxi drivers who takes him around, he usually goes to Patience’s house and spends much time there,” she recounted.

She alleged that the husband had rented another room where he lived together with Patience Nyarko under the pretext of discharging his duties as manager.

“Nobody knows where he stays in Accra. Why would you live outside when you have rented a house? None of his siblings knows where he stays but I have heard that he stays with her [Patience] at Gbawe,” she further stated.

She also revealed that Wilson sold their cars, house and land when he started producing the gospel artiste and has since neglected his responsibilities towards the kids.

Mrs. Kumi therefore pleaded on the gospel musician to leave her husband so he can pay attention to his family.

“I am pleading with Patience Nyarko to leave my husband alone so he can cater for his children. He has money to produce Patience Nyarko’s music and pay radio presenters for playing her songs but he is not able to cater for his children,” Olivia lamented.

However, Wilson Kumi, in a statement published by has refuted allegations that Patience Nyarko is the cause of his marital problems.

According to him, even though he admits there are challenges in their marriage, Patience Nyarko is not the responsible for them. He says there had been problems with his marriage before he started managing Patience Nyarko.

“I must admit there is a marital issue at stake but Patience Nyarko is never the cause of it but I saw the need to keep an eye of the investment I have made in her not to lose two things at the same time with the hope that, the marital issues will be resolved if there will be understanding between us (me and my wife) in the near future,” he wrote.

“I appreciate concerns by friends, colleagues and media people who would want to understand what is happening, but at this stage, I want to respect the involvement of my wife and my children who are innocent and therefore should not suffer any media ridicule and humiliation,” he added.

Mr. Kumi further assured his loved ones and fans of her artiste that the issue at hand would be solved.

“I can promise all concerned people that the issues here will be resolved in no time and there will be peace at both ends. Thank you for your continuous support for Patience Nyarkos brand and Trust Music production for the years that we have been in operation in the music business. God bless us all and in all things, lets give thanks to God,” he concluded.

Patience Nyarko is known for songs like ‘Wafom Kwan,’ ‘Eboboba’ and ‘Atigya.’
