Disturbing images depicting ISIS ‘ brutal and inhumane punishments inflicted on civilians have been released.

ISIS has intensified its crackdown on people living in the eastern province of Deir Ez-zor, Syria.

The extremist group is looking to repress anyone opposed to their way of ruling, reports.

A horrific photo shows a man being executed in front of crowds, including young children.

He kneels on the ground, blindfolded, as a man holds what looks like a gun to the back of his head.

Another shocking image shows a man being pushed off a building- supposedly for being gay.

The man, dressed in black and also blindfolded, is seen falling through the air with his legs stretched out and his hands behind his back.

Another horrifying photo shows a man stood ready to be caned.

And one of the sickening pictures shows a ‘thief’ getting his hand cut off.

He sits with his face covered as men use an enormous blade to slice him, in front of onlookers in public.

ISIS have been trying to ‘keep civilians in check’ and avoid possible pro-government uprisings, according to reports.

This comes after Mirror Online reported harrowing footage had emerged of the moment a petrified 16-year-old ISIS bride was captured in the ruins of Mosul, northern Iraq.

German teen Linda Wenzel was captured in the war-torn city by Iraqi troops after running away from home to join ISIS last summer.

Horrific punishments are being carried out in public

In the footage released this month, she can be heard screaming as she’s surrounded by smiling soldiers who grip her by the arms and lead her away.

The crowd can be heard whooping and jeering in the background as she cries and tries to wriggle free.

It’s believed the young girl is being held for questioning over terrorism offences and could face the death penalty in Iraq for membership in IS.
