It is a well-known fact that dreams don’t always come true, but for actress and TV presenter, Regina Adu Safowaah, she is determined to wait for as long as it takes to get her dream man.

Not for a lack of potential suitors – in fact, she claims she has turned town many proposals from men – but her dream is to marry a “man of God”.

The 27-year old actress, who starred in movies such as Red Line, House of Gold, Today’s Woman, Circles of Pleasure, Church Sex, Husband Shopping, African’s Child and Cheaters, told Showbiz in an interview that in the last five years, she has had countless number of dreams of getting married to a man of God and she was ready to wait and see that dream materialise. And she is hopeful of walking down the aisle next year.

“Apart from me having those dreams, three men of God have told me the same thing which got me convinced that the dreams I have been having will become a reality,” she revealed.

Safowaah said she first dreamt getting married to a prophet in February 2011, which was further reinforced by a number prophecies made to that effect from different men of God. In 2012 and 2013, the outspoken actress had the same prophecy from two separate men of God.

For the curvy TV star who presents Health Talk for Tumi Wora Herbal Research Clinic on Metro TV on Saturdays, as well as hosts Chocho Concert Party on Atinka FM and other programmes on Cine Plus TV and Kantanka TV, her past experiences dating men have informed her preference for a lifetime partner, as the previous relationships ended on rocks and had no future for her.

Last year, Safowaah was awarded Best New Actress at the City People’s Awards in Nigeria, the Most Promising Star at the Kumawood Akoben Film Festival and the Best Dressed Celebrity by Nigerian Broadcasting Merit Awards.

Her skimpy dress sense have often drawn criticisms, but the actress says she just loves to look hot and her choice of clothes is not necessarily a reflection of her personality.

“People say stuff about me but I am never moved because I am not what they think about me. I am a staunch Christian and I believe in the principles of Jesus Christ,” revealed the actress who has featured in about 15 movies.
