Aimed at honouring the biggest newsmakers for the year, Viasat 1’s annual JIGWE Awards came off this morning at a classy event at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra.

Talented rapper Okyeame Kwame, humour merchant DKB, and fiery Afro-soul singer walked home with various awards. other winners include Live FM’s Berla Mundi, EC boss Charlotte Osei, Sarkodie, and Joselyn Dumas.
