My Dad Is Not Dead – Andre Ayew

Andre Ayew, son of Ghanaian legend Abedi Pele has rubbished reports that his dad died in France a few hours ago after a short illness.

Reports in the media had it that the former Black Stars captain passed on in France, Marseille, in the wee hours of Friday.

But the West Ham United star has debunked the story insisting Abedi Pele is alive and kicking and not suffering from any illness.

“My dad is alive and very well. He has not suffered from any sickness or illness and has not received any treatment in France. The reports are complete lies and a hoax,” Andre Ayew told Ghanasoccernet.com

Lo and behold, a sub of the Multimedia company, adomonline.com has confirmed our earlier reportage. Now, Countryman Songo will be back on air from Monday, June 18 to provide football fanatics with hot sizzling sports content on Adom TV.

As a reminder, the highly opinionated football presenter was taken off the screens of Adom TV and his show ‘Fire for Fire’ which is arguably the most watched sports show on television after he rained several insults on Kwesi Nyantakyi over mismanagement of Ghana football.
