The government of Uganda has asked all landlords and landladies in the country to quit taking rent for three months as the nation tries to fight the coronavirus.
In a statement released by the Ministry of Works & Housing, all landlords have been tasked to quit talking rent for 3 months.
According to the statement, the coronavirus is already causing havoc to the economy of the coronavirus as many workers are now staying home to control the spread of the virus.
To help workers who are not staying home to survive in this difficult times, all landlords have been ordered not to take rents.
All landlords and landladies are to respect this directives else they will face the law according to the press release.
